About us:
   Neptune's Reef is a hobbyist's fish store in Torrance, Calif. We cater to fish enthusiasts with quality equipment, good advice and an eclectic selection of healthy livestock and plants. Both fresh and saltwater species are represented. Whether you're interested in freshwater plant aquaria, ponds or marine reef setups, you can find out whatever you need to know to be successful. We are committed to your enjoyment of a hobby that everyone here has enjoyed for years.
   If time is a factor in your ability to maintain an aquarium in your home or office, we gladly provide professional aquarium service at your home or office. Please call to inquire about rates and service.

Ordering and Shipping:
   Shipping costs are calculated by actual weight or dimensional weight in accordance withUSPS, UPS and FedEx Shipping charts. All dry goods (except aquariums) are shipped via UPS ground unless you specify overnight or 2nd day delivery.
   Aquariums are shipped freight collect. Rates for crating and shipping are typically between $200 and $300 dollars. Please call for particulars.

   All orders must be shipped to a street address. No orders can be delivered to a PO Box.

   Backordered items will be shipped as soon as the items are available. If an inordinate time is anticipated for acquiring backordered items, you will be notified.

   Payment is accepted by credit card or check. Check orders will be shipped after the check has been funded.

   For dry goods there is a $6.00 charge for packing and handling. This charge is waived for orders over $300.00.
We apologize, but due to recent problems with live shipments, we are no longer shipping livestock.
Returns:
Dry goods are accepted for return under these conditions:
The item must have been purchased within the last 14 days.
The item is unused and in it's original undamaged packaging.
The item has not been immersed in water.
The item is complete with all accessories, instructions, warranty cards and promotional pamphlets.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Please call us and receive an RA (return authorization) number. This number must be marked on the shipping box to insure prompt processing of your credit. Please, carefully pack and ship the return to our address on the home page.
